And, more importantly, you need to address any problems that may arise after the auction is over. Shipping and handling is not foolproof and there will be times where you need to be highly responsive to the customer if there is a problem.
2) Limit your payment options
Many people seem to think that they must accept any form of payment to run auctions on eBay. Why create such a headache?
Limit the payment options, and you will limit any problems that may occur with payment.
My suggestion is to only accept PayPal. The small percentage in fees you pay is worth the peace of mind you will get by not having to chase down sellers due to payment issues.3) More is better than less
